Hi
I have a 520d manual done 55k miles. The car struggles to maintain speed on the motorways when met by a gradient, it just loses power. Is this common with 520 diesels or is something wrong with the car. On flat roads the car is fine.
Any thoughts or advice would be apreciated.

If you have a MY '08 with the M57D20TU engine, the rpm's to use are between 1750 ? 2500.
Then the engine gives out its 350 Nm and no hills nor nothing will stop the car.
Very happy with mine, with auto transmission.
Thanks for reply Trevorken.
