I have never owned a car that I received more compliments on than my E60.
There have been so many times that I return to my car and find people walking around it with huge smiles on their faces.
It is nice to drive something that is different and not rounded like so many other cars on the road.

I beleive change is inevitable and more so a good thing. I think what people cannot simply identify with is the fact that there is a radical change from the more conservative looks to an aggressive and futuristic look.
But hey, the design and engineering of this car was to take into consideration what is the art of tomorrow. I mean, I listen to people tout about the A6's interior and am almost about to puke. How the hell do you make A6 the car of the year? huhh!!! Was someone sleeping?
The E60 boasts of all the inputs into a futuristic car and more so has taken up a challenge that most automobile companies are scared of ever getting into. Both interior and exterior changes are really great. I think the concept was born at the right time and will catch on pretty soon.
I think most people who buy new cars or change new cars these days are more conservative and moreso looking for something that will keep them abay... the E60 throws them into a complete questions and the concept of iDrive has been looked forward to for so long. Am glad for once, Bimmer took on a concept without staying under the shadow of another mobile company.
My only cons about the E60 are with the double brake light system. I think the concept of the hazard flashing when ABS is engaged will be much better of than the middle brake light, if not both should be engaged. I also think the idea of programming the car should be made more easily available to users/drivers than to the dealers. Am hoping newer versions will make all the programming features accessible to the driver so we can tweak and personalise the cars better.
I beleive the E60 will be the car of next year...

I really like the new BMW design except the 6/7.
Especially the M5.
