Hi
Whenever I switch the traction on,there always pops us a message in the console that the car stability is reduced. Why is this happening? Why these two cant co exist? Is it safe to avail traction at reduced stability? Expect a reply from the experts.
cheers,
jay

Traction is on by default. You don't switch traction "on." What you're actually doing is turning traction off.

Traction control works on rear wheel spin (loss of traction) while stability control works on front-end push (understeer) and rear-end skid (oversteer).

Yes, you are right as well as SilberGrauE60. A momentary press of the DTC button will disengage DSC and leave traction on. Pressing the DTC button longer than 3 seconds removes traction control and DSC. I turn both off while engaging in spirited driving.
