Hi,

I would like to check with guys who have it if M6 166 19 inch wheels will fit on e60 without rubbing with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19.
My stock suspension has been upgraded into full M-tech (shocks, springs, sway bars).

You might be wrong. :'(

M6 166 rear wheels are 9.5x19 are with offset 17 and M5 166 wheels are with offset 28.

btw, I don't know how and where to create subscripts with car details.

The design can be from M5, but how do you explain this?

almost but actually the answer is easy,

look here BWM configurator if you bulid a BMW M6 Coupe click on thrid stage you can choose the rims there you have as a basic wheel M 167 ( that we call M6 type) but also the wheel M 166 is available.

It is not M5 wheel or M6 wheel, one comes with M5 that is M 166, for M6 M167 but only WE call them that way, both are available see Nikos's wonderful 167 Flowers and many M6 with 166.

I'll let you know in a couple hours. My wife's '06 530I without sport package is in the shop having 245/35R19's on the front and 285/30ZR19 on the rear put on OEM 166 rims. After much searching on this forum, it appears this is a good set up for the car. I ran it for a week with the large OEM M5 wheels on it. What a mess. A lot of rubbing and it messed up the DTC.

And... these 19" Michelin tires are damn expensive.

I didn't think that the M6 had an option for the 166 with ET:17. Obviously, according to realoem it does.

You won't have any rubbing issues with the 166s with ET:17. My setup with 166 ET:28 and 12mm spacers, does not rub. My configuration is 1mm more aggressive than the 166 ET:17.
