What is BMWCCA discount?

(Yes, I mean a new 2007 530i buying in my sig.)

I was using the build a 2007 530i option on the BMWUSA website. A 530i with all the Options listed in my profile. The website list a whopping $60,845.

Mine (out the door with keys in hand and a smile) $49.590. It?s not quit $12000 discount more like $11,255. Does anyone think I got ripped off?
You can get a pretty good discount if you have been a member of BMWCCA for a full year before purchasing--maybe $1.500. I still think something is wrong. My understanding is that US dealers have only about 7% or 8% (can't remember which, but I think the latter) between MSRP and invoice. What's implied is that you purchased your car waaaaayyy below invoice. I don't think that BMW plays the hold back game, but even it it does, your apparently incredible deal still is not explained.

Indeed, I took a quick trip over to Edmunds and it looks like a 530i with enough options to nudge the 60K mark has a dealer invoice of around 55 to 56K

Let's see now, .08 X $60k = $4.8k. And, $60k - $4.8k = $55.2k. Well, spank my knees.

You bought the car in Germany. I don't understand how you can compare it with BMWUSA.
If you build a 2007 530i on BMW Taiwan/HK/Singapore websites, you will probably get 50% off compare with how much you paid from MSRP.

I saved $11k, but that was in 2001 when I ordered a 530i, new model at the time, ED, and legally avoided California sales tax. I don't think anyone beat it.

See my specs below?

I saved a whopping $12000 off list price.

What a deal

Anyone find a better deal?

This topic is going to turn a lot of heads

and some heads may roll

BMW CCA is $1000 rebate on the 5 series.

How I compare it? It is the exact specification as the USA model. It?s the same car. Therefore the only difference is the price.

Is there something pertinent you're not telling us? If your car is new, and assuming as you mentioned BMWUSA you're using US pricing, your drive off is considerably less than the dealers would pay to acquire the car . Military discount? Demonstrator?

I never said I would share how this is possible. Just wanted to see if I got a really good deal. And from the looks of it, I really did.
