Does anyone else have this problem of getting this kind of white build up on there steering wheel? I know this sounds gross but I don't know what it is, it's like a whitish fog, and it keeps coming back, I have used many cleaning items to clean it and it won't go away. I ment to take a picture w/my cell today but forgot to. It happens kind of near the BMW sign on the wheel. HELP

Perhaps one of the cleaning agents damaged the finish? Have you put a protectant on it?

I had the same problem with my wheel, i had them replace it under warrenty i was previously useing the amorall wipes and i kinda think that any type of protectorant may eventually give you this effect. so now i only use a damp cloth to wipe my wheel.

There is an ace interior-fix guy in Phoenix. He says don't use Arm-a-rohl (however spelled) cleaning or even leather wipes on an interior--because he is unsure of the quality of these products. He says he is very sure of the quality of Meguair's products and to use Meguair's leather wipes on both interior vinyl and leather. He does not sell products, but he is a mega expert on maintaining and repairing interiors of all sorts. I believe he said that using "bad" products will dry and stiffen the materials over time--and that they can't be returned to their original states. Maybe a result is the white stuff, but I can't really say for sure.
