Hi everyone,

I'm after buying an e60 525d about 2 months ago with a hydrolocked engine, since I have replaced the engine , reconditioned all 6 injectors, removed the swirl flaps, got the turbo checked, egr cleaned, 6 new glow plugs, new glow plug control module. I've been to 5 mechanics and no one can find why it's smoky constantly, It's definitely not coolant or oil coming from the exhaust , it's unburnt diesel and I don't understand how this is happening if the injectors are all good, it also seems to be misfiring a little but only at idle. On the diagnostic it's getting a smooth running fault which would indicate an injector fault.

Any help will be greatly appreciated
