Post offices are not a government entity. I am not sure where they are in the menu, but try Business and Services.

I wonder if the people at NavTech who do the DVD maps for BMW know that the U.S. postal service is merely a quasi-governmental agency as an "independent establishment of the executive branch of the Government of the United States," (39 U.S.C. ? 201) wholly owned by the government and controlled by the Presidential appointees and the Postmaster General.

I think the "goverment" category would be the most appropriate location personally. Nonetheless, I cannot find it in Businessess and Services either. I searched for one while in the post office parking lot! Nada...?

You were close -- post offices are listed under the "Emergency and Public Places" category but instead of looking in the sub-category "Government", try looking under the sub-category "Public Places"....

+1.

There's a whole category for Post Office under Public Places!! I looked for it after I saw this post.

BTW, DRP (550isport), did you reply to your own post in the Lounge??
