Whilst my head was stuck in the glovebox last night (jammed CD changer), I noticed that there is a socket in the glovebox but no torch.

My dealer says torches are not supplied any more.

Can anyone confirm if this is so for UK supplied vehicles.

Thanks,

I'm in the UK ... I've had three E60's, first one in 2004. We also have a new X5. None of the cars have come with a torch. Pretty cheap of them if you ask me ... !!

Your torch is still at the factory in a box marked clearly "?25 if you want one"

They used to be free on BMW's now not so (again)

The one in the clove box is not worth getting.

A Zippo does the job better.

anyone knows that the charger is standard in a EU(Belgium) e60 from 2004?
I looked in the glovebox, but there is no charger in the left corner. It is closed with a small plastic and it is hard to pull it off.
I didnt pull it off because i'm scared that i break something on the car
