I hate to disagree, but you are wrong about the stretch. I ran 225/45-18's on my Audi A6 with a 8.5" rim. The tire looked great and not too much stretch. Putting a 245 on an 8" will give you more bulge. It is perfectly normal, but it does not look as good when you run larger diameter wheels. I originally had 245's on the Audi and the the car actually tracked a lot better with the 225's. A wider tire will give you more feedback on bad roads and is not always better. Wheel offset will make more of a difference than tire width. This is 225 on 8.5"

I would recommend you to take a look at craigslist. You can get the take off tires with wheels very cheap. I saw stock 124 style with RFT low miles for $700 nad that is asking price, most of them have OBO.

I will be selling mine as well and I do not expect to get more than that... OEM rims will be much better than cheap noname rims with who knows whatever tires....

I love these wheels, and this is the cheapest I've ever seen them- anywhere.

Has anyone done business with Modbargains, or is this a rip?

Those are nice rims ! but do they have the same agressive concave in the center toward the center of the rim ? Because a lot of these replica companys imitate the face of the rim, but when you look at the rim from the side you can tell the difference right away.
