Diamond's post was the smartest response in this thread, it actually made people think to ask "oh maybe its a 7.5 inch wide wheel?" relax dude... you have no idea what size rims he's getting 225's would be fine depending on the width of the rims he's purchasing no need to go running around telling people they are f'in morons and to shut up :thumbsdown:
he obviously found a cheap price on a new setup that he's interested in so lets here him out before we continue the pissing contest and try helping him instead

And i have to buy a new cup holder and also need to change the shift knob ( interested into the m5 style )
Since i bought the car from a dealer auction so i need to replace these things to get it looks nice ...
And one more question is i dunno how come my bluetooth not working. It shows contact the BMW service center for some reason.
Dunno if 2004 530i have bluetooth option or not and does it compartable with Iphone 3GS?

You'll have to get one of those in a 5-120. Is your car an Xi model? If not you'll be running a pretty large spacer ~22mm and need longer lug nuts to accommodate. Also the CB on our cars is 72.5 not 73. Not a huge difference but enough for vibration.
This shop that you found, do they know what they are doing? Have the fitting these wheels on a 5 series before?

My Ride: 545I and a half dozen other rides
I agree they look like they were made for a front wheel drive.
Spacers = more money
Maybe search the craigslist for some take offs. Save you some money and a lot of grief.

Dude what are you talking about? The stock tire/wheel on e60 is a 17 inch 225 tire. Was 16 before 05.
225 is fine given the correct offset of the wheel. 245 275 is definetly not needed except for appearence and performance. I had 245s all the way around on 18 inch sport package from factory.
Anyway just make sure offsets are the same as oem 17 inch wheels from bmw
