Yes they exist (the auto-leveling cam w/ Xenon no matter what) !
I converted mine & using it now ... and bought the headlights here in the forum (complete w/ ballast & bulb) for $500
AHL/Adaptive capable or not you'll need the newer LM2 to use LCI in fully functioning matter ...

In theory...This should be fairly easy.... We'll see.

Yup, same as my case as mine just change VO to Bi-Xenon as you should be already using LM2 ... mine is MY2007 (build Oct. '06) already.
I keep hearing mixed opinions about whether I'll need a new LM2 or not. I think im just going to give it a go with VO change only. The reason being is because my car is already LCI and im just swapping from Halogen to Xenon Non-AHL.

Wow, didn't take you long to "save up" for them. haha, congrats on the upgrade! They are subtle, yet make a big difference IMO. Post a few pictures when it's all said and done!

Hey all,
I've looked around the forum but haven't been able to see a clear answer on the question below
My e60 has led lights from factory (blinkers, rear Parker's and tubes) does this mean I can easily install xenons?
Cheers all,

Unfortunately, they have rejected my payment it seems they can't accept such a large amount via PayPal and want me to transfer the funds directly to their bank account. It sounds way too risky..going to see if they'll let me paypal half first then the other half.
Based on your description your car is LCI? If that's the case then the answer is yes (kinda). You can easily install aftermarket HIDs into your halogen projectors which will give you xenons. As far as a factory retrofit goes..not sure how easy it is..I'll let you know as soon as I can get my hands on these headlights and complete the retrofit.

Actually the Euro got both AHL and non-AHL version of Bi-Xenon ... and there is no difference on the AHL version.
For non-AHL version (like I'm using) the smaller/inner reflector is like a clear lens (actually kinda like the Xenon lens) not frosted.
