I have a 550i front bumper getting painted and I need the holes in the bumpers covered. Do they sell PDC dummy inserts that fill in the holes in the bumper? I dont have parking distance control, so and those pieces are 150$ each. There are four sensors in the front bumper.

Don't they sell aftermarket PDC covers?

HELP

I would believe they can fill the holes at the paintshop...

Ya with bondo ? Thats my last resort because overtime the bondo will crack, especially if I bottom out or bump after bump, there is nothing behind the PDC holes that would support the bondo, its just empty.

No, not only with bondo. I'm sure they have the expertise to cut plastic covers and then bondo it smooth.

I heard Duramix from reading other posts on google?

Whats foam BTW? Why can't modding ever be somewhat easy! I saw even tops of water bottle caps with the flat tops being inserted and touch up paint!

Not aware of any covers out there. The PDC bumper has a bracket welded inside where the PDC snaps in. So just getting the PDC sensor won't help you a whole lot. I would agree with most here, the body shop should be able to fix this with materials available to them.

get some washers and see what size fits the whole and then paint them with the same paint color. or purchase the pdc sensors from someone who's trying to get rid of them. but i think i'd go with the first route.

and there are 2 sizes of pdcs.. 24mm and 18mm.. the Pre-lci is 24mm.. so you have to find out which size you need. been through this already.. lol
