Hi every one

I was just wondering as to when is BMW replacing the current 5 series E60? And what is the code for the new one?

Thanks

I think typically the models last for about 6 years - so its approx half way through the life cycle. A bit long to wait, in my view

There is however a rumoured minor facelift in march

cheers

"Almost a sure thing" isn't a rumour?

No one KNOWS.

So, no matter how "educated", it's all guesswork.

Well, not entirely true anymore. BMW internal system is listing new bumper parts for cars with production date March 2007 and onwards. I would say this is a certainty now.

F10 may be a guess, but the facelift is not. I just discussed with somebody from a BMW factory about E87 facelift which will also appear next year.

So that'll be already then since the e60 is over three years old.

Unless "after three" can be any number higher than 3.

"I know someone who knows someone who knows..."

All rumour.

Someone has reported no external changes and others are reporting new bumpers.

Did someone show a screen grab of the new part numbers?

I am prepared for all of this to be true but no-one on here, as far as I can tell KNOWS.
