If your 5'er was coming out of warranty soon and since the new style 5 is on its way, would you sell now to get more dollars for your car?

How much are you going to, or rather, can sell it for now?

honestly i probably will keep my car even though new one comes out...

they always have problem with first year of new generation cars.... so probably wait until 2nd year production car comes to the showroom. I dont want to get stuck with engine change problem like 04 530i and 05 530i..

Of course sell now. If you have to be "that guy" to be the one with the first new model then obviously prepare now. Sell your e60 while there is some warranty on it b/c they will make it easier to sell and of course it adds more value to it than all the other e60's being sold w/o a warranty. I have a 545i and so I can't see any reason on selling anytime soon though... these cars have everything from power to luxury options... if you are trying to upgrade to a V8 then yes, I agree with your decision. Otherwise, unless the new model is more fuel efficient (doubtful) I wouldn't upgrade just yet... but yeah, to answer your question again... SELL NOW!

I totally agree. I have one absolute rule when leasing a new car.... ALWAYS skip the first production year!!!!
And I say lease because that is my other rule.... lease new or buy used or CPO.
