My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
This pic might give a better look at it.
For some odd reason the pre-LCI do not have the rear reflectors.

Found this LCI M5 for sale. It has the trunk lid, don't know if it's the same part or if it just looks the same. BTW 80% of all 2007 M5 for sale in Germany are Touring models, wonder when we'll see one here...

My Ride: E46 330, E60 550 on order: Carbon Black/Natural Brown, 6MT.
How does the finisher attach?
Does it cover the factory model, or is the factory model removed and replaced.
If it is the latter, I'd guess it will bolt up. You may need to to tweak the wiring a bit.
BMW will avoid sheet metal changes wherever possible, as it is an expensive change.

The lid was installed only with 3m double sided tape which goes over the existing trunk lid. Very easy install by Darwin of Sonic MS and thanks to VT and Torquey5 for the hook up.
