a while back in this forum, i read that wheels are being made in indonesia, thailand and china for Bridgestone, Michellin and Goodyear. Is this true? if not.ive seen them here in my country.could they be fake. in case i want to buy new tires.where is the MADE IN located? and for each brand, where are they orginally made in? im planning to buy Bridgestone 16" for my winter set up. Thx a lot guys

I doesn't have to be a fake; all those manufacturers you are referring to have tyre production in low cost countries. But eg Pirelli normally don't send Turkish made tyres to Europe, but instead send some from east Europe labeled as "Made in Europe". Otherwise people would probably not by them... So, distribution may be different in Lebanon.

I wouldn't worry buying either wheels/tires in the US as long they are brand name.
Problem with after-market wheels (not brand like OZ, BBS, ENKEI etc) can be made in far-east and I heard people having problem balancing, crack etc.
Stay with brand name or use rule of thumbs, "you got what you pay for".
