Hello all. Just looking through the gallery, and I notice a lot of users have some nice rims on their cars. I notice quite a few have these:

So are these rims available to all 5 series models? I went to the website and they don't even have these as an option.

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed

These are the standard M5 wheels. Most dealers (in Europe) will only sell these when you supply them an M5 chassis number.

There are many companies selling these (originals) also at better prices than BMW. They go straight on your car with the correct tyre sizes 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear (the M5 uses different tyre size)

Those rims pictured are M5 (Style 166) rims, easily the #1 wheels on E60's. They are straight off the real M5, and fits perfectly on your car without any issues.

So I would be able to get those from the dealership for an additional price, plus have them installed?

I'm looking to lease a 530, and it would suck if I can't get these on the car.

My Ride: 2004 545i / Orient Blue (I think) / Tan int / 116's Wheels / ... my favorite option, the HEATED steering wheel! Previous cars retired: 2006 Corvette Z51, 2002 Corvette Coupe, 2002 Mustang, 1997 Maxima, 1994 Camry, 1990 Supra None, and I mean none compare to this 545i. The 06 Corvette was faster, but not by much...

I found the OME's on bmwwheels.com and they run about 500 a piece, pluse tires and install. I would bet the tires for these types of wheels are 300 easy, higher if you want run flats. Expect about 4K to do the whole project correctly and without issues.

You should have no problem putting these on your car.

Where are you located ? If you are in the US there are a few places you could get a better deal on a set of OEM 166's instead of getting them from a dealer.

Or contact Quad_m on this forum for a good deal.

BMWGuy - Call Garry Romani at BMW of Newport (Rhode Island). He gives all E60.net members 25% of all OEM parts, including wheels. I sourced many places (bmwwheels.com and a bunch of others). Nobody beat his price and they came packaged like they were direct from the factory. I highly recommend going with him and not spending the money your dealer is going to charge you. Buy the tires on TireRack.com and just take the wheels and tires to your local shop to have them installed. It's really easy and you'll easily save hundreds of dollars without a doubt.

PS - update your sig/profile so we know where you're from and can help you further.

the height of your car looks higher than my car. is it only because of the rims? you haven't lowered them?

What model E60 do you have Yoko? His should be the standard sport height, since he has the sport pack.
