Daughter gets the 06 530xi for her 16th birthday in July 2010 and I get a new car - which one I know not
Good luck with that. That was my plan for the A4 but she's having some difficulty feeling confident with the manual, and I want her to really be in control. So now I'm deciding on whether to keep the A4 for my son, who's 14. He can get a restricted license at 15 here. Something about farmer's and tractors.

Oooh - that would be hot! I'd rather buy a Z4 coupe with the twin turbo 6 though...
I hope they pair it that way eventually.
If Z4 Coupe with I6 Turbo will be cheaper, then yes. Heck, even 3.0si sounds nice, and inexpensive compared to M, but still M is an ultimate coupe!

Man if they put the 335 engine into the M Coupe that will be HOT!!! I mean the M Coupe engine now only has 333hp anyways...

But an M will always be an M...

Man speaking of M... some lucky punk got a brand spanking new Interlaoges Blue M5 in my work parking lot today. I'm so jealous!!

1. Porsche... (P Car? )
2. Aston Martin V8 Vantage - Depends on reliability...
3. SL63 AMG - I don't think I will go with an automatic car though...

Once the kids are out of the house, and assuming tuition doesn't break me, it's Porsche time.

Yeah, I figure the current inline 6 M engine is pretty finnicky - you need to give them a lot of TLC. Plus, the turbo will be so tunable.

Am I the only one that finds it interesting that as Audi moves away from turbos, BMW starts starts to use them?

Not yet decided, but i'm currently evaluating few different options:

E61 535d MSport (new, aluminium block, engine, but still TBA)

X3 3.0 SD ( available in September, new aluminium block twin turbo engine)

Possible alternatives are Merc E320 CDI Avantgarde sport (new revised version, very good quality and very attractive price, in Italy) and the new Volvo S80 (no, i'm not seriuos, but it's nevertheless a very attractive and competitive package for a car of its class).

At the end of the day, E61 or X3 are the most probable choices.

Let me see....

Current 530Xi only one 3 months into a 3 year lease. No change for now.

Audi A6 lease coming up in January.

Wife may be getting a promotion by the end of the year so the company Montanna van may turn into a capital allowance for her to lease anything she wants as long as it is below a certain limit, but it won't be enought for an Audi Q7....

I want a hardtop convertible......

SLK (maybe AMG 55)???? M Coupe???? M Roaster?......Cayman?........Boxster?......

My wife and I take turn to drive 2 very young daughters back & forth from daycare so I may need the backseats for baby seat & booster.........

I want a hardtop convertible........

I want a hardtop convertible.......

Maybe I will wait for the next 3 series hardtop convertible and if business is good, the next M3 hardtop convertible..........

Or may be I'll get a Q7 to replace the Audi A6 in January........what about the next X5.....

Decision....decision.....
