My Ride: 520d LCI, old engine, manual, black dakota, platingrau II, standard (242?) rims.
Perhaps it's the seat belts tensioner charge? This would be the item responsible for tensioning the seat belts in case of a serious accident.

prob one of the air bag sensors to detect how hard the car was hit or if it rolls to help determine which airbags to deploy.
Seat belt tension charge there??

The label on it reads "airbag" ... maybe a capacitive charge device that would allow airbags to deploy even if the main battery were dead. When I get time I may investigate further on RealOEM

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.
I hear flux capacitors are on backorder right now
