What's the difference?!?
Can anyone explain what the difference is between (if any):
Part # 35426772645 (Accelerator pedal module, auto gearbox)
and
Part # 35426772646 (Accelerator pedal module, manual gearbox)
They also list one for SMG.

I get that. What is the difference? The software in the module? If so, what makes it different? The pedal module inputs to the car so that it can open and close the DBW throttle. Wouldn't that function be the same in all cars regardless of transmission?
The only difference I can think of between the Automatic and Manual parts is that the Auto would have provisions for the kick-down step, the last little bit of resistance before you floor it and your car downshifts. As far as SMG goes, who knows?
