Lots of creaking at the window seals -- especially by the B pillar.
I just told my dad that my car was doing that yesterday... guess I'm not the only one. My friend's 2001 325i doesn't even do that. Can anything be done?

Not that much, just some weird iDrive errors which go away the next time i start the car (like "engine control unit failure").
Oh, and the lights seem to blow at random each week... (ever tried to replace your angel-eye lights...)
Crack in the front window for no apparent reason.
Squeeking front brakes

That's about it (i've had the car since December...)
Fortunately, everything except for the lights was fixed under warranty.

I had a weird I-Drive symptom of it freezing (music stopping and all) once the car was hot, like about an hour driving sort of hot. It would freeze and pop for a few seconds every few minutes. I replaced 2 M-ASK units, upgraded to CCC (pro nav), and replaced that once too. Replaced a significant portion of my wiring loom, a MP3 adapter, and after all that? We eventually find out the problem was the stupid phone receiver thing.

Other than that, everything else has been very minor in terms of annoyance and cost. (An oil leak here, coolant leak there type stuff, recently a MAF sensor because I didn't know not to use performance filters in a dust bowl)

I freakin love my car. I admit, at one point I was really bummed about the i-drive issue, but I got over it once it was fixed and it's nothin but love now baby!

My problems are more financial related due to excessive modding and periodic pullover by legal enforcement.

I never liked the AG color until I saw your ride. Now I like it. So do the cops apparently.

PSSST, if you listen closely when they pull you over they're telling you "Give PJ your M5 mirrors, they look great!" Until you do they will keep pulling you over. Just trying to help out bro.

The worst problem I have had with my BMW (3 of them now) has been with one particular dealer being snobish, arrogant, and outrageously expensive. Other than that my experience has been fantastic - including every other dealer I have dealt with.
