I have been toying with the idea of putting a deposit down for the new M3 convertible (how can you not love it...), since it will be quite some time before they are available and I want to secure my place in line.

However, it got me wondering if I would rather see the new 5 series before making any decisions on my next ride.

Do I remember that its a 7 year life span, meaning the new 5's would arrive in spring of 2010, and the new 7s in spring of 2009?

I seem to think its been discussed here before.

Thx.

As the rumour goes, the next 5er is to be presented at Geneva Auto show in March 2010 and the new 7 in 2009, so yup you're right.

I'm pretty sure this looks right, based on a 7 year run . I know the 09 5ers will come to North America this September.

Interesting. My new 2 year lease will start sometime in March so I might be better off going for 30 months so that I can order the new model rather then leasing my third E60.

3 cars virtually the same would be boring I think............... I would time it to get the F10 or something else IMHO
