I went with 20% all around...its Illegal where i'm at though (So Cal)...but so far no problems (knock on wood).

i had 35% on my first 5 series but it was still to light for my taste, i went 20% all around on my new 5 and very satisfied with it, also illegal where I'm at but no issues as of yet..

35% all around. I don't recommend going lower than 20% - besides being illegal in many states I knew too many people who took it off because it was too dark when driving at night.
