Bruce,

I don't know if I'll be able to add any good information but I just tried to identify your car by looking at your signature and was surprised to see that you haven't listed it yet! How'd you slip through the cracks for two years without any signature information?
My entire car is listed in the "My Ride" section of my Profile. But I'll put up a signature too now. Besides that is not a photo of my car but since I'm in the area doing my amp install at the moment I notice my car is a lot less empty that some cars I've seen here. I couldn't believe that BMW actually kept all that space empty in my car by design.

I think the SIRUS and the part pointed in Green at different. The SIRUS is mounted on a bracket whereas what I've marked up is directly screwed into the body.

Nice job on the signature Bruce, thanks. As you can see, it's just much easier to see your car's details now (no need to go over to the "my ride" information...)

I didn't realize that pic wasn't of your car. It's going to be tricky to figure out what those things are without knowing what options the photographed car has. You're right, the Sirius module is mounted on a triangular bracket not just screwed to the body.

If I get motivated later, Maybe I'll take some pics of my car and try to identify some part numbers... (Don't wait up though! )

I got motivated today. My car doesn't really look much like the photo Bruce posted. Instead, you can see three components (there are about two more above the wheel well behind the other black panel.)

Circled in GREEN is the Sirius satellite radio module and circled in RED is a module that I'm now guessing is something for the HD Radio option:

Here's a closeup of the label on the component circled in RED:

Sorry I can't identify the other components in your photo Bruce...

Thank Rudy. I wonder how they would fit all that in there if you had to tick the DVD changer and TV option on your car too, which it looks like you dont have. I guess the Sirus and DAB radio modules are mutually exclusive so no issues there.

Don't forget that in the US, we can't get the DVD changer and TV option so those options wouldn't conflict with the North America Sirius or HD radio either...
