What is this squeaking sound?

My Ride: 07 BMW 525i Premium Package, Xenon Lighting Package, manual Transmission. Titanium Grey, 20% Tint around the back, 70% V-Kool on front. Planned mods: Style 71 wheels with Toyo Proxy 4 tires, Sachs suspension upgrade, upgraded stereo, and many more to come.

Recently I noticed a squeeking sound from the steering wheel, only happens when I turn. seems more pronounce at low speed but not sure if it's because it's harder to hear if i drive faster.
any ideas? just want to get some comments before calling dealer...
hope dealer won't blame my lowered car/low profile wheel causing steering problem. oh, and i change the steering wheel sensor about half a year ago...

Yep me too, exactly the same. Mentioned it to dealer and he said they would try to lubricate and if that didn't work they would replace complete steering column. It sounded to me as though they'd done a few

Definitely seems to happen only at slow speeds, and I am thinking it is something to do with the variable power assistance (servotronic) on my car.
