Hope he errors on shifting or take off is about the only way your going to flat out beat him. Those WRX's can move when the boost is turned up there like that. Would not surprise me if he is more in the high 12's to low 13's. I think he under estimating his mid 13's. Even slight error on his part and I think he still runs mid 13's. I think in the best conditions and best time you could ever do stock or even semi moded is about 13.5 to 13.7 (some mods) and a slim chance you could do 13.7 stock(things need to be perfect). I think with a sprintbooster you'll find your times at best are maybe a 1/10 to 2/10's off the stock so most runs your still only going to be at 13.8 to 13.9. Easiest way and cheapest way to keep up or beat him would be a shot of nitrous.

Good luck. Post a video if your going to have one.

I took one off the line before and I wont lie, it was quick.

Good luck to you but trutfully, I think the subaru will take it. But who cares, tell some blonde "Hey my subaru is fast" or "Hey my 545i BMW is slow". Which one the blonde would rather give some oral fixation in

The faster you go the more advantage you will have. I had a WRX that ran over 20psi and got beat more than once. You need to 1. learn how to reliably launch your car,2. determine what the best shift point is and 3. add a few gallons of unleaded race fuel to your tank well before you race. Once you add the race fuel practice lauches and shift points until it feels right. Subarus are relatively hard to launch and they lose their advantage from 80mph up. The race fuel will help your car pull hard on the shifts and at the higher mph. As far as wheels and tires, factory 18's with RFT are real heavy and so are 20's. If you want to race get a set of 167's with a light set of tires like Goodyear F1 asymetricals.

If he doesn't nail the launch you will get him, if he is only running 16psi.

That guy on WRX said that after all mods he done he's gonna run mid 13's, That's not an STI regular WRX 2.0 TURBO
Did you see guys how fast he was from the start but after 3rd gear I passed him!
Didn't notice he didn't have a STI version. I think you got a good shot at beating him or at least make it a race by a bumper or so.

How much horsepower at 16PSI can that WRX put out???

I know STI WRX puts out about 300hp at like 14.5 boost. But I believe that is also a slightly larger displacement in that motor. Though it won't surprise if his WRX is putting out around 260+HP (Isn't stock like 225 or so?). Which I'd say would put him with in reach of mid 13's but more likely high 13's.

But its all about the launch. One slight delay on his car and you win. Just his clutch not grabbing quick enough going into second and you'll take him.

Good luck.
