I searched all around and could not find the answer to what an LSI or non-LSI 5 series is?

I have a 2004 530i and love it and am new to this forum. There is a ton of great info here and I've spent quite a bit of time checking it all out. Thanks.

It's a BMW term that means a facelift given to a model series about halfway through it's run. For the e60 in the US, the 04-07 cars are pre-LCI, and the 08-10 models are LCI. There were some changes in the interior, front facia, bumpers, lights, and so forth. Also, the N54 engine was introduced. There's a PDF that shows all the differences if you do a search. GL.
