What is a hubcentric wheel?

The center hub has a lip which extends outward about 5mm. A hub centric rim will have the center of the rim milled out to the exact size which will fit over the center protrusion of the hub. This centers the wheel perfectly on the hub.

Funny you ask, I just happen to have my wheels off (in process of rotating my tires) and, I got a pic just for you lol. That bronze looking ring is the centering hub
