What happened to the blue tint BMW mirrors

My Ride: 2006, US Spec, 530i, Silver Gray, Black leather, Anthricite headliner, Steptronic, Navi Pro, PDC, Comfort Seats, Rear Heated Seats, Rear Shades, Folding Rear Seats, Bluetooth w/Blackberrt Torch, AUX Input, Bi-Xenon, AIB Angel Eyes w/matching fogs, summer wheels R118 w/PS2 tires, winter wheels R138 w/Michelin PA3 snows
I believe in the US, outside mirrors are autodim along with the rear view inside mirror. Also, I think all US model E60s do NOT have blue tint outside mirrors. I did get a set of tinted mirrors off Ebay that I want to install. Also, I do not like that text on the passenger side mirror (the tinted mirror does not have any text) and the extra offset for the blind spots will be helpful to me.

My Ride: 2008 Bmw 550i M-Sport
Blue tint mirrors
Here in the USA I have a 2008 BMW 550i M-Sport. I don’t have blue tint on the mirrors they are just clear however when the auto dim kicks in the mirrors including both side mirrors and the interior rear view turn to a blue tint.
