Glad to see the focus fuzzy under those circumstances, brian.

With my 330Ci 250 km/h. It needed some time to come there but it did!

You guys in the US are daring I'll give you that...

I took my 330 (in Germany) quite often to 130. I would NEVER think about doing it here (even with Radar) anymore. I got pulled over in my Z4 for 120MPH (had radar but came down a hidden area on I-5 in Central California where he used instant on). I was honest with the guy and told him "no excuse" and was polite. He gave me a warning

Under normal circumstances this wouldn't have been a ticket but a lovely morning accomodation in Fresno courtesy of the CHP.

I'll save my excessive speeding for the track days.

BTW: Those of you doing ED's the nicest "fun" run is at night... Try the following route: A8 outside of Munich (South east), then get on the A99, then take the A9 to the A92 and continue to Deggendorf... Spin back around back to Munich. HIGHLY suggested NEVER to try this with a single unit of alcohol, as there can be random pull outs for dui testing at night. Late night is a good time as trucks are generally off the road and the daytime speed limits for traffic are normally not applicable.
