My Ride: no work done yet, just go the car a week ago but looking to do some work soon
![Thumbs up](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif)
as i put my car on today for the first time i got 2 error messages. One was Drive control system malfuntion, driving stability. The other one was Start off assistance inactive...
Akso the brake light is oreange and on all the time as well as the traction controll... It says to contact a bmw specialist as soon as possible.
Any idea what it is and why it happened?

Not to sure...Could be your battery going bad...When my battery was going bad, it caused my car to throw all sorts of codes from active steering, to passenger restraint...After you turned your car off and then back on, did the codes go away?

Let me know if you need someone to check it out. I know a BMW tech near Red Bank, NJ who might be able to help you. Good luck!
