Hey people, what do you use to protect your seats agains scratches, wear and tear from the bases of these car seats. If you can, please provide pictures. I have seen some products on-line, but I don't know how good any of them are.

Thanks!

Have four of these between my and my wife's cars. They do a great job of protecting seats.

I simply have an old towel under the seat and hold it with cable ties on the headrest, so it doesn't slide down. So far, no visible damage to the seat when I take the child seat (Britax) out.

I have two backless boosters the bottoms of which are fairly blunt. no food is allowed in the car so the only damage is the indentation they create. I remove them and throw them in the trunk when the kids are not riding with me. The seat gets to breathe that way.

I don't have the pictures, but when we use my car for the weekend, I make sure the seat mat comes along with the seats. I use a 2 piece rubber seat mat available at toysRus (or maybe Target). There are cuts to allow seat belt to buckle. It also runs down the seat to protect against soiled shoes.

I have the same as kscarrol and it works great. Have 4 of them and would recommend them to anyone. Protects the seat from food, liquid and even indentations. Even has three pocktes on the front.
