[quote name='JDN' date='Oct 29 2004, 04:41 PM']I am only using one for raising and lowering the door. Seems like it works a little faster with 13.3 or it could be my imagination.

I'm going with "it's your imagination" since I think the mirror is a standalone unit that simply requires a 12DC connection. I don't think there's any ties to the CIP software on the car...

I don't think that one's in the FM JDN -- I'm just guessing...

Rudy, I would have expected that your assumption is correct, but my garage opening function with those buttons is painfully slow, or more like 'delayed'. It seems that it doesn't just need power from the car being 'on', because if I turn the car on and immediately press the button, my garage door doesn't move. Only after waiting some time, then pressing that button for a while does the garage door activate.

Maybe ????? it could have something to do with the car's computers???? Maybe?

does anyone know and can tell me what they do? the manual doesn't say anything and i didn't find anything on it in a search of this forum.

the manual shows a mirro without the three buttons and a knob you can twist under the mirror, but my mirror has a red alarm light that can't be twisted and three buttons to the left of it.

They are for you to program and use as your garage door opener (up to 3 doors).

I don't think it is tied into any kind of computer on the car. You just have to hold the button for 2 seconds for it to work.
