I'm curious to know what the color combo is on the 535 on BMW usa's home page. I can't tell if it's blue and if so which blue or carbon black. Also is the interior creme? I think the exterior color looks terrific.

It is Monaco blue metallic. CB is only blue with certain light angles, black paint with blue metallic flakes. In the US CB is only on the 550 sport.

Hope I helped.

Its Deep Sea Blue Metallic with Cream Beige Interior. My manager went to the big managers meeting held by BMW where they introduced the 08 5 Series, and it was introduced in Deep Sea Blue.

Not to create a debate, however at the NY auto show the LCI 535 and 550 were both "officially" introduced in the US. Both cars in the colors that BMW used for the previous press release and current home page. The 550 was in carbon black metallic with cream interior, the 535 in monaco blue metallic with cream interior. Do a search for the NY auto show and you will find lots of pictures. This comes from personally being there and speaking with the rep, I was very interested because of my color choice on my 550 and had seen both colors in press release and photos. Anyway, I guess it could have switched I am wrong.

It does look like monaco at the auto show, but the introduction I am referring to is closed to the public it was for BMW dealers only, and it was unveiled last November, in Deep Sea Blue.

After staring at the picture from the NY Auto show, I realized, it is Deep Sea Blue.

Second thought, don't go by pictures from the auto show. The carbon black looked very monaco blue and the monaco blue looked very deep sea. I was there and the lighting was horrible, almost cancelled my carbon black because of it. In real light situations the colors are much different. Anyway, both monaco blue and deep sea are very nice, but to give the best advice to someone shopping colors through our opinions is almost useless. Go see the colors in person, in real light, not showroom or show conditions, and pick yours.

Regards

Sorry for the confusion. You can call BMWNA and ask, I did when I saw the press release long before the dealers had info. The rep did confirm the carbon black 550, the 535 I believed to be monaco blue. However don't go by the pictures for your final decision, you have to see them in person in real light. Good luck.
