I've recently been struck by the Retrofit bug and I'm wondering what all have people Retrofited either via BMW or themselves. Only list items that BMW offer as factory options in any model, so no massive subwoofers installs etc. Don't repeat what others have listed and also no wheels.

My list
  1. Voice Input
  2. Aux Input
  3. 12V rear power sockets and Aux
  4. Interior Footwell lights

Seems like there's a lot of rules in this game!

Put me down for the AUX input, Umnitza Predator Ice bulbs, and soon to be front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, and trunk finisher.

Edit: I guess the bulbs don't count based on the rules. Sorry.

The idea of this topic was to give people a view of a 2nd chance in case they are feeling sad about not ordering the factory option. I know for a fact that most options are very expensive as retrofits but some are cheaper done later.

No photos of the footwell lights but they are the exact same ones as you get in the Extended lights option. Only now instead of black blanking plates I have lights as found inside the glovebox. See http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=37592

Not many Bmw upgrades but here it goes:

Chrome kidney grills
Red rear reflectors
Intergrated bluetooth
numerous software updates

My upgrades:
19 inch bbs rxII
Cdv valve removed
H&R coilovers

Now for the Warrenty issues:
steering wheel replaced (peeling)
Squeaks and rattles (still have some)
seat heaters (in shop now for burning thru drivers seat)
cup holders
door lock arm
brake sensor noise
sun roof wind noise
slz module
head light assembly (replaced) auto pan feature stuck
bluethooth issues
auto window feature
cd player skipping (replaced)
cd player not accepting cds (replaced again)
key fob no range on remote (wire not hooked up after rear window replaced)
rear window replaced after trim faded

Which equates to 37,000 miles in 4 years of driving, but i still love the brand and intend on makeing another plung soon
