I recently open my hood and saw a little residual fluid leak on the side, i open to see that the fluid is half full? i dnt if this is to be filled to the top? can any one help?

 

Is there a floating stick inside? If I'm not mistaken that radiator fluid so no it shouldn't be filled half way but there is a floating stick in there that tells you how much to fill.

That is the location of the power steering fluid resevoir.

Nope, I think...think its for the power steering...not sure.

 

Mine in on the other side in my 545, but it looks the exact same. Power steering reservoir. Make sure you only use the fluid it says on the top. It is a special hydraulic fluid. It should say it on the lid. Something like "CHF only". This is the stuff you want to buy.
