" Have the problem checked by BMW Service"...

If it were me, someone who has no clue what this is.. i'd take it to BMW service and get it checked out.

This looks to be the same problem as in another recent discussion.
There was mentioned that this could be caused by the battery or the alternator.

While I don't know what the cause is, the car should be fine to continue driving. I believe it refers to the traction control and stability control programs. Since they tend to use a lot of battery power they are often shut off first if a battery starts to go bad. If your battery is relatively new or fully charged then sensors could be at fault.
In any event, just be a little more careful on your cornering. We all survived quite well without these electronic nannies in the good old days.

Been having similar issues, garage have replaced the "intermittent" alternator. I had changed the battery a couple of days before but the problem came back.

Got it back from the garage today so will take it out for a run later then leave it over night plus a fwe hours and see what happens tomorrow.

Could be the battery. What year and what software version do you have?
