Just for fun I was curious what everyone sets theirs at...

I generally have mine set to warn me at 85 MPH. If I am on a longer trip I may set it to 90 MPH.

210km/h (130mph) because that's what my winter tyres are rated at.

It's in iDrive for me under one of the settings. Not sure off the top of my head and no idea if the option is there in all version of iDrive or only at some specfic update level/version.

I even had a speedometer "alert" in my 1986 524TD ... didn't set it then - don't use it now. That said, if a driver is prone to distractions it might be a useful reminder/alert. I have Heads-Up on my e60 so it's easy to know what my current speed is. What is more troublesome is when municipalities randomly set low speed limits and then fail to post reasonable signage.
