went from CIP 19 to 21

Just got back from dealership and got the CIP 21 installed from 19.
I noticed the active steering is more precise at highway speeds and there is a dead on center now. Small movements of the wheel really are noticeable and tighter feeling.
Idiling at stop lights is a constant 700 rpm where as before it would go between 700-500 rpm with the AC on.
Braking is much better and smoother the tranny does not throw the car forward when switching from 2nd to 1st or maybe it just holds on to 2nd for complete stop.
Finally Air conditioning and heating stays off when you shut it off so that the next time you start the car it is not on.
I originally had a slight problem with pinging when under load on a drive way or bridge but the new update fixed that.
Shift points and engine revs are better matched.
Dont know about cold starts yet since I got the car back at noon but will post tommorrow.
Also fixed my headlights from coming on when it was sunny out during the day time and staying on. Now it turns off when bright out and comes on under bridges and garages like it was designed to do.
So far very happy with CIP 21 the car felt sluggish on the gas pedal but already its getting better. No stations were lost on SAT, or any radios. Bluetooth had to be re-activated and that is about it. Nav screen also had to be re-activated.

can anyone confirm these findings of CIP 21 because results tent to differ from person to person ... no offense TV550 ..
If you do a search I was one of the original guys complaining about crazy Nav, Hard stops, pinging, rough cold starts etc. before CIP21 came out. Looks like they fixed everything I complained about in 21 and not in 20 Im glad I waited.

Did you have to tell them to adjust the headlight sensitivity or was it part of the upgrade? Mine are always on when driving home.

Braking has improved alot, the tranny does not shove you forward while you are braking, when slowing down. You are able to modulate the brakes better. Its not Lexus smooth but liveable.
Active steering is way better it seems more precise and has a definite on center. Higher speeds makes the steering wheel more heavy but sensitive.
Revs and pedal reaction is better.
Doug get the CIP 21 upgrade it really has improved the car alot.

I just got updated the 21.02. Haven't had a chance to drive it much but I did check out RDS and MP3, both seem to work fine (didn't have it before). I never really had any problems with headlight, AC/heater, etc. I'm hoping everything still works

It addresses the dam air conditioning and heating staying on even though you shut it off before you shut the car off.
Really? The AC or the Fan? or both. I know my fan ALWAYS kicks in after I shut down and start it back up after the car goes into sleep mode. V.16 still
