Recently I've noticed that my E60 makes a sound at irregular intervals. The sound is something like three beeps the one after the other and I think is coming from the speakers. Any ideas?

If I remember correctly there is a an optional setting in I Drive that emits these beeps at the change of every hour, next time you hear this sound check if it is the top of the hour. This feature can be disengaged in I Drive.

Thanks guys. I remember now that i came across this option and i enabled it. I was too lazy to reach the manual to find out what it does. Again thanks for the prompt response.
