I have some strange noises coming from inside the cabin. It sounds like wine bottles banging into each other.
I'm wondering if it's the seat belt restraint system?
Anyone have any idea what it could be?

+1 prolly the metal bit on the sunroof (air diffuser?) (the black metal bit that sticks up a bit when you have the sun roof fully open) I just stuck some black felt bits on the metal bit and never got the noise again

Thanks!
I didn't even consider the sunroof. I'll look at it ASAP.
Strange that it makes that bottle clinking sound, as it permeates the entire cabin and is hard to trace.

For sure that is it.
Mine was doing it and my daughter said "dad are you sure you don't have some wine bottles in here".
It is the the diffuser. I have heard you can put some felt on it but I just open it and close it and it stops.

+1 My wife kept telling me that she heard bottles in the car. I narrowed it down to the Sunroof. The dealership fixed it for cheap. Said they replaced the plastic retainers or something. didn't bother to try to fix it myself or validate their work.

Finally!! An answer!! I would hear the same thing every morning when I leave the house. It's a subtle...single...*clink"....and I always thought it had something to do with the seatbelt restraint.
It's been driving me crazy. I thought the sound was behind the drivers seat but when I had my wife sit in the back seat she swore it was coming from the front seats.
