My understanding is that all east coast cars arrive via WW.

My Car took 12 days from loaded on vessel to discharged in Halifax. Another day to sail to NJ, a few days to unload, 14 days may not be unreasonable.
I was under the impression that all BMW's were off-loaded at South Carolina.

I just checked the status of my shipment tonight. I'm pretty blown away.

I dropped-off my ED 550 in Nice around 10:30 last Friday, May 11. They scheduled a ship around 12:30 the same day. That ship, the Asian Chorus, will pick-up my car in Zeebrugge this Monday, May 21, and it will be off-loaded in New York on Thursday, May 31 (after interim stops in Southampton and Halifax).

If all goes well, I'll take redelivery sometime towards the end of the week of June 4 - a month or less after I dropped it off - amazing.

The information on the ED forums at Bimmerfest indicates that BMW no longer uses WW for all west coast deliveries. Some of the west coast cars arrive on NYK Lines. Ufortunately, NYK has no similar tracking system. It is my understanding that the NYK ships do not stop on the east coast the way that the WW ships do.

Updated information from Bimmerfest is here :

Here is the shipping Schedule from the port of Bremmerhaven to Port Hueneme for the month of May 07.
Can you send me the URL for the site that gave you that schedule. Since my calls to 800 number changed status from awaiting vessel to en route around the 14th or 15th and my VIN won't track on the WW sites, I have to assume that being a West Coast delivery it is on Sagittarius Leader (NYK) line. How can I track this ship.

http://www.dbh.de/index.php?id=151&L=0

N Y K line (West coast deliveries) But not much info currently
http://www2.nykline.com/home/index.html

The best tracking site unfortunately the full content site went fee based 05/03/2005
You can track ship movements down to the minute

There is a large VPC in NJ as well. I believe it is the main east coast processing center.
