Default Vacuum Line Replacement

Hey Everyone,

I recently started to replace all my vaccum lines as they were old and some were brittle.

I cant reach the rear turbo line from above and was wondering if someone has done this also?

Im also looking to replace the hardlines from the brake booster to the vacuum pump, just don't know what size vacuum line to purchase.

Cheers,

The large plastic lines are 3/8" reinforced heater hose. And I think all my other vacuum lines were 7/32 premium fuel hose.

I had to reach the rear turbo vacuum line from under the car.

I too am interested in how you got it from under the car. Did you have to remove anything? I cannot see how youre able to grab it as is

If you unbolt them it is pretty easy access.

When i took my downpipes off the first time I cut off the brackets to you see in the first picture. This makes it easy to reach up in the engine without taking off the downpipes. Here they are cut..

Hope this helps.

hmm... i was wondering why you cut the brackets off. makes sense though, those are in the way. i noticed i would have had to disconnect the pipes to get to that last vacuum line.

I think my turbos are just weak. car is at 156,000km now

might have to consider something to put me around 5-600whp with my meth setup but not sure i want to invest that money

I also cut them off because it made removing and installing the downpipes much easier. Removing the heatsheild on the motor mound makes a ton more room for working with the v-bands.

I'm making as much room as I can for a single turbo.
