Model Year: 2004

I saw a movie awhile back (foreign), where there was an X5 (probably 2004-2005 model) and they were watching live news in it. I was wondering if anyone was able to rig the electrics to watch tv and also dvd's, through the nagivation drive? not saying driving and watching tv is a good idea...but sometimes, sitting in stop/go traffic, or parked, waiting for someone......
