So 3 days ago I notice that I have a piece of cloth brushing against my leg. Well, turns out it is a part of my seat that has come up from under the plastic molding. I am a little upset like anyone would, but it isn't ruining my life. I am hoping that this is something that will be looked at as a defect and taken care of as such. The leather is not ripped as you can see, but more like come loose. I would like any comments you can give me. I have to make an appointment for a scheduled maintenance in the near future, which I will bring this problem up as well.

It looks like they should tuck it back in for ya... dont ask but when you go in just tell them to check and tuck it back in.

I honestly don't think that will do it.. It needs to be secured or something of that nature. I haven't taken one of these seats apart, but if they were to "tuck it back in" it would just come out later down the road. I dunno.. :|

It may require more than a tuck in. The guilty piece of leather may have been badly cut--with you not noticing anything until it came loose and started tickling your leg. Either way it should be a warranty repair.

Don't be surprised if they replace the entire leather cover under warranty. If they just "tuck" it, it'll likely just come out again...

Wonder if they will keep it for a few days.. :( Which means out of pocket for a rental, I guess the brighter side is a fixed problem.

Dude! How'd you get blue leather?

(or is that the camera flash?)

Priority 1, didn't you know?

  No, it is the grey leather, but the flash makes it a little blue'ish.

Does you dealer not provide a rental/loaner because you purchased before moving to AZ--i.e., not from your dealer?

I had a much more minor case of the leather coming loose from the stitching (15mm section) from the backrest of the front passenger seat.

My dealer ordered a new leather cover for the base and the backrest, and they replaced it last week under warranty.
