My first 530xi had its rotors replaced at 7000 miles, and now my 550i rotors started warping back at 4500 miles. I am pretty sure I should be getting more life out of them without warping.

I've done the bedding in process on these, but it's not going to change the warped issue. I know they'll be replaced for free by BMW, but it's such a pain in the sack to keep going through this.

Anyone else having these issues or is it just me? Maybe it's just me who is warped?

Have you ever wash your car when your brake are still hot? Cos that might reduce the life of your discs

Its because your a steelers fan!

Just kidding, but on a serious note my old roommate worked at a garage and he said under no circumstances should rotors being going after 4.5k. I understand bmw is fixing it all for free now but once that 4 years/50k runs out (unless you have the extended coverage) then you are going to be paying for this out of pocket. This being said i would tell them there is something more to it than just the rotors getting torched. If you dont find out why this is happening your going to be putting 2 sets of rotors on your car a year and that my friend would be EXTREMELY painful in the wallet.
