Hi Guys,

Got the warning chim ,(like Fasten seat belt) even my key is removed .

Lock the car it disappered then as soon the door is opened it started again
Any one experience this.?

What to do

In the center display (behind the wheel) it should light up some warning? What is it?

Like ipaq said it could be something wront like low on fuel, one of the lights are out etc..look at your gauges or idrive itll tell you

Guys there is no warning at all or No faults in the check control messages.

Mine does this periodically, showing a picture of a key in the center display. As I recall this was a fairly common issue in early cars where even if the key was not in the ignition the car would detect it anyway. Don't know if this is what you are seeing but it has never been more than a slight annoyance. I simply clsoe the door and lock the car and it goes away.

Two options.

Either you take the car in for a Progman or sensor fix or

"They will come and take you away, a-ha..."

Mine only makes this sound when I leave the autobox in N instead of P.
