Default Want to upgrade Standard speakers for my car

Hello guys,
I bought the used car and I am a second owner. The previous owner he did got all the options for this car but not the Audio system. The audio system now is just a standard HiFi with single CD/DVD and crapy speakers
I had a quick look and noticed that there are 2 small tweeters, 2 mid range speakers on the front doors, 1 center speaker in the middle dashboard, NO speakers on the rear doors, 2 speakers on the back dashboard and 2 subs under the two front seats.
I really don't want to cut the wires and install the after market speakers on it. Is there a kit of speaker set that I can buy and replace the original one by plug-n-play ? and also I plan to add a 12" subwoofer in the trunk to give more base but I don't want a big box took all trunk space. if anyone can guide me to place where I can buy all these. My budget I try to keep under $1500 ( I am broke cuz of this babe )

thanks in advance guys

Standard HiFi does not have a center dash speaker. Yes there is a grill there for a speaker, but that's for cars with the Logic 7 audio system. Otherwise it's just an empty space. Anyway, I currently have the stock speakers and added a center speaker and a JBL MS-8 for the amp. Sounds great. It's a good way to start if you want to eventually build your audio up.

Yeah, I do see the grill on the front dasbboard but don't know if there is a speaker on it or not. I do want to replace all stock speaker with a set of speaker can be plug in and done Not cutting wire (or minimal of cutting wires). Is the center speaker is pre-wire or not? Do I need to replace all the AMPs or just speakers?
please advice me to build up my audio

thanks

I did this with Technic's audio wiring harness. Very minimal wire splicing if any. Made a whole world of difference in the sound. However, I do have new speakers on the way.

Can I just swap out the speakers and keep everything else as(stock amps + cd/dvd player) original ? and adding an AMP for the subwoofer using Technic harness cable ( he's currently back order on the harness for HiFi audio system).
I did some search and found BSW has an upgrade speakers kit that can be swap out but I don't know is it required to swap out the amps or not

Yes...He has a harness for that. PM Technic for audio questions on an E60. He's very helpful.

I really like the set up of JBL MS-8 but I wonder how hard to open the dashboard (M-ASK unit) to install the center speaker and the PnP harness cables. I've never done one before and have zero experience how to open up those control panel on the dashboard. I am afraid to break things off
Any guide to show how to open the dashboard panel (M-ASK unit) safely ?

Here's a link to a CIC retrofit that includes a Microsoft Word document that compiles the retrofit. This also shows how to take the dash trim to remove the MASK system and iDrive screen. The center speaker is not that hard to install. However, you do have to run wiring for it. To run the wiring it's best to remove the idrive and MASK system to see where you can fish the wiring.

Also, this is my thread on the retrofit mod showing the center speaker install. That starts at post #44:

balbs,
which sub woofer you think is good ? I think about 1of 12" JL sub or 1 x12" Kicher or 2 x10" . Will get the Technic's harness cable for the sub first but I am still looking for the enclosure that fit for my trunk without take all trunk space. Any suggestion?
