...hey my fathers just got a new Chevy Trailblazer which has touch screen Nav/XM/AM/FM radio and in-dash 6 cd changer, who would have though GM could actually create something nice?????? 
... ofcourse I still choose BMW for the drive, but i'd like to have these apparently simple technologies incorportated into BMW....

Actually, given that the "suck-in" variety of changer always left me wondering about CD damage, I have no problems whatsoever with the glove-box-mounted magazine variety of changer. What the heck else do you need to put into the glove box, anyway?

My Ride: 2004 545i Silver Grey premium sound sport pkg auto trans rear sunshade fold down seats park distance control . Did euro delivery in July 2004. This was second ED.
My 2004 545 has such a plug in the back of the center console. There is also one in the foot area of the passenger seat all inaddition to the one in the center of the front console.
